Solidcore Closes $10 Million Series D Financing with More than Four-Times Year over Year Revenue Growth

JAFCO Leads Investment with Matrix, Menlo and Sevin Rosen Funds to Support Increasing Demand for Automated Change Control

PALO ALTO, Calif., Apr. 25, 2007 — Solidcore® Systems, Inc., a leading provider of change control for critical systems, today announced it has secured $10 million in a fourth round of venture capital financing led by JAFCO Ventures.  The new round of financing was also supported by existing investors Matrix Partners, Menlo Ventures and Sevin Rosen Funds.  The investment will bolster worldwide sales and marketing efforts to support the company's rapid growth and the increasing demand for proactive, automated change control for critical IT infrastructure.

The funding from JAFCO Ventures, Matrix Partners, Menlo Ventures and Sevin Rosen Funds brings Solidcore's total financing to approximately $40 million.  In addition to supporting Solidcore's market expansion, the new funds and JAFCO's proven leadership in Asian business development will help accelerate Solidcore's change control business throughout Japan and other Asia Pacific markets.

"We are very excited about the prospects for this market, and look forward to helping contribute to Solidcore's future expansion," said Tom Mawhinney, general partner at JAFCO Ventures.  "Solidcore is well positioned in the market with unrivaled technology that automates the process of tracking and controlling change across critical IT systems.  Solidcore has demonstrated success streamlining and reducing the costs of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits in the US, and we expect this success to continue with companies throughout Japan that are aggressively working towards compliance with J-SOX - Japan's Financial Instruments and Exchange Law."

Solidcore's new investment comes on the heels of exceptional business growth and momentum, including:

  • More than four-times year-over-year revenue growth
