Solidcore Reports Outstanding Growth in Customer Adoption and Deployment of IT Control Solutions

Leading Provider Strengthens Team to Support Market Demand for IT Control; Monico Mallari Appointed Vice President of Customer Advocacy

Palo Alto, California — December 29, 2005 — Solidcore Systems, Inc., the leading provider of IT control solutions, has announced outstanding growth in its customer base and rapidly expanding deployment of its products across the enterprise. To support the increasing number of customers and the breadth of their implementations, Solidcore has appointed Mr. Monico Mallari to its executive staff as vice president of customer advocacy.

"IT control is a real and growing need," said Rosen Sharma, president and CEO at Solidcore . "We are experiencing unprecedented momentum in our business as validated by the rapid adoption and deployment of our S3 Control product line in a wide range of vertical markets. Monico Mallari has demonstrated the experience and knowledge to lead our customer advocacy efforts to extend this success into 2006 and beyond."

Solidcore has experienced significant adoption and increasing growth with its S3 Embedded solution in the ATM, other financial device, medical device, and storage markets. Manufacturers that are using Solidcore’s S3 Embedded solution for superior control and security of their devices include Dynamic Network Factory with networked storage, NCR with APTRA ATMs, and Tacit Networks with WAFS software and appliances.

Solidcore has also found success and growth with its S3 Change Control product in integrated manufacturing, financial services, e-commerce, and retail verticals. Among the customers that are using S3 Change Control on servers throughout the enterprise is the web collaboration leader, WebEx, which is using the product to gain real-time visibility into change in their datacenter and to enforce change policy and procedures.

S3 Security continues to gain unprecedented acceptance in the market with its unique deploy-and-forget approach to security, which assures that unauthorized code will not execute on servers and workstations running Solidcore’s product. Illinois’s Pace Suburban Bus Service, one of the largest bus services in the U.S. with 1,500 employees and 600 buses, has recently expanded its deployment of S3 Security in its data center. This expansion is based on Pace’s ability to establish high levels of security in an operationally efficient manner, allowing MIS to defer patching to scheduled maintenance windows.

Solidcore’s selection of Monico Mallari to lead its customer-facing efforts is crucial at this point in the company’s growth. Deployment expansion among existing customers and increasing numbers of new customers require the leadership of an executive with proven competence, experience, and success. Mr. Mallari is well qualified to help Solidcore deliver superior ongoing services and support.

Mr. Mallari brings over 20 years of experience in services delivery, operations, call center management, and professional services to his role as vice president of customer advocacy. His background in customer service with both startups and enterprises has been invaluable in building organizations from the ground up and rebuilding existing companies. Mr. Mallari’s work with startups began with executive positions at ROLM, which was eventually bought by IBM, and at MetaSound and Ensim Corporation. He also served in leadership roles at IBM and Siemens Communications for over 15 years. His passion for customers ideally suited him to build customer-interfacing organizations. At Solidcore, Mr. Mallari’s mandate is to ensure customer satisfaction and drive revenue by delivering services through the sales engineering, professional services, and customer support groups.

"Solidcore is the kind of company where everyone in high tech would like to work," said Mr. Mallari. "We have the talent, technology, and products, as well as the customers and momentum, to be extremely successful. I am confident that my team will deliver the services and support that our customers need, assuring their — and our — continued growth and success."
