Robert Sandie Joins Solidcore as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development to Capture OEM Market

PALO ALTO, Calif. - February 22, 2005 - Solidcore Systems, Inc., the leading developer of control solutions for embedded systems , today announced that it has hired Robert Sandie, executive vice president of corporate development, to take its innovative software technology to market through indirect channels.

Robert Sandie has a proven track record in building world-class strategic alliances and channel sales. At Solidcore, he is focusing on expanding repeatable, predictable revenue for Solidcore through partnerships with independent software vendors (ISVs), system integrators, value-added resellers (VARs), and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Mr. Sandie is responsible for the growth of Solidcore's strategic relationships with industry leaders and the expansion of the company's overall corporate development initiatives and market leadership position.

Prior to joining Solidcore, Mr. Sandie was the vice president of business development at IONA Technologies, where he built the business development team and strategy that included major agreements with HP, IBM, and Intel. He also built and managed the business development and alliances team at webMethods, creating OEM relationships with Ariba, i2, Oracle, SAP, and Siebel Systems and managing system integration partnerships with Accenture, EDS, IBM, KPMG, PWC, and others. As the global alliances director at Veritas/Seagate Software, Mr. Sandie established a corporate channel for ISVs and global integrators that resulted in a significant and predictable revenue stream for the company. He also has held numerous executive level alliance and business development positions at organizations such as GreenBorder Technologies, Knowledge Direct, Inc., Macro 4 Inc., and Sumitomo America.
