Abstract

Leading companies like WebEx are continuously seeking to improve availability and stability of their mission-critical business process systems by ensuring that change policies are followed. Conventional change management solutions attempt to solve this problem by routing all changes through a central point and ensuring that there is a proper approval process. However, they do not connect the approval process with the deployment mechanism, which means that changes that are deployed may or may not have been through the approval process. Furthermore change outside of the established process cannot be effectively tracked and technically enforced.
